Adam and Mariska Mountain Biking

The Cycling Co. Difference

What truly sets The Cycling Co. apart from all other destination cycling tour companies?

Our founder, Adam.

Former National Cycling Champion, Adam Walker, is not only a certified cycling coach and guide, but he has also  trained to become a sommelier and has spent years in the hospitality industry. Adam’s knowledge of cycling, food and wine will illuminate your unique experience like no other.

Unlike other destination tours, we also offer coaching as a part of your experience (optional).

Have you ever wondered how the pro’s descend so well? Wished you knew how to train a bit better? Pondered the best way to prepare for that Granfondo? We can help you with all of that while you are here. If you just want to ride, that’s ok too!

Custom Threads

Here’s another exciting feature/option that sets us apart. Because we are small, we can do things that the big companies can’t do. With confirmation of your group booking a minimum of six weeks ahead of your start date, we can have custom Jakroo cycling jerseys and shorts created for your group with your corporate logo and/or club name.*

While other companies may offer friendly guides, or the chance to ride with former pro riders, or great food, or deluxe accommodations, The Cycling Co. offers it all, and does it with small group sizes to ensure the highest level of personal attention.

Adam and his team will do so much more than simply lead your group around the best roads and trails of the south island. You’ll truly have an incredible experience and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Choose from the following signature itineraries or work with us to create a custom experience specifically for your group.
