Description
Saturdays are Dirt Squad’s weekly adventure, skill development and recon ride. Taking place at different South Island locations each week, the team often uses the Saturday rides to pre-ride the race courses for upcoming events.
Start times will vary slightly but the ride typically begins between 9-10am. Rides are generally about 3 hours in length, but occasionally we may stretch it a little longer (up to 4h).
We ride rain or shine UNLESS weather presents a danger to riders.
Riders MUST also complete a Dirt Squad application and be accepted into the program prior to registering. All riders must submit their annual membership fee once accepted into the program, along with their first registration of the year.
All Dirt Squad Youth Team coaches and instructors are Professional Mountain Bike Instructor Association (PMBIA) certified.
